Ralph McQuarrie, Rest In Peace!
Concept artist Ralph McQuarrie past away yesterday at the age of 82. Sad news indeed as McQuarrie’s work basically shaped the childhoods of a (my) generation. Most famous for his Star Wars work, where he created a universe that has endured for decades, he also influenced Indiana Jones and Close Encounters amongst other classic visual feasts.
His contribution to film history is undeniable and his legend will live on. RIP.
