Genuinely haunting and beautiful photographs from Masahisa Fukase. Obsessed with Ravens his life has been dark to say the least. Suffering from depression in 1991 he fell down some stairs and has been in coma ever since. His photobook, “Flying Solo” featuring the Raven pictures was recently named best photobook of the past 25 years.
To push the final series of Lost, Colenso BBDO in New Zealand introduced this smart campaign featuring billboards “Lost” around the country. Photos of them were put on the website where users could guess their locations, seek them out for real and win prizes.
Artist John Lytle Wilson takes old paintings from various sources and “corrects” them with his own sci-fi visions. He says on his website “Occasionally, an artist will paint something, but neglect to include robots and/or monkeys. When I can, I fix that”. Nice.
